WHY BEING STOPPED WHILE BLACK IS THE PERFECT TIME TO GIVE COPS HELL
I once saw a white guy on tv say black people being stopped by a cops for any reason is not the time to act a fool. That blacks should comply, be nice and do not argue with the officers.
But to me, that would be the first time you're stopped by the cops. But what about the second? Third? Or fourth?
Stanford Open Policing Project found that Black drivers are about 20 percent more likely to be stopped than white drivers compared to their share of the local population.
Why don't they comply? Whites say. Why didn't they call the police? Whites say. Because...
Also.
National surveys from sources like the Prison Policy Initiative indicate that about 45% of Black people who had any contact with the police were approached or initiated by officers, compared to 40% or less of white people.
So for many black Americans, when they get pulled over, it's more than likely not the first time.
There's only so much people can take before they snap.
So, be as loud as you want to be. Curse the police to their face when they pull you over.
Let them know loudly how you feel.
Insult the cops at every opportunity. Yell, put your finger in heir face.
Make stopping you the biggest mistake of their lives.
Especially when your in the right and even when your in the wrong.
Make them pay.
I make every cop who stops me remember me.
If you don't feel like these things, don't do it. Rather be nice and follow orders, and go on your way?
Then by all means do that.
But for the rest of us. For the centuries of shootings, physical assaults, discrimination, racism, BS excuses for being pulled over stopped and frisked on the street, planting evidence, harassment, intimidation tactics, racial profiling, It's payback time.
Get shot? Oh well, shoot back. Beaten? Oh well. Hit back. Court appearance? Fuck that. Skip it.
They're probably going to do those things anyway. So why not take out your frustrations while you can?
Got something to lose? Don't do it. Have a passenger in your car who you don't want to get in trouble? Stay calm and go through the motions.
But for the rest of us, get stopped by the cops. It's go time.
Give them hell.
Even to your own detriment.
