Unequal Gain of Equal Resources across Racial Groups

In nearly 20 papers, my colleagues and I have found that in the United States, economic resources and psychological assets systemically result in a smaller health gain for Blacks compared to Whites. These findings hold for a wide range of SES resources (eg, education, employment, and neighborhood safety34) as well as psychological assets on health.
